• LICENCE PLATE DETECTION
• Project Scope. The scope of the project is as
  under-
• To detect the location of the Licence Plate.
• Once detected, Classify the vehicle based on
  license plate color.
• Character recognition from License Plate (If time
  permits).
• Methodology. The general steps will be as under-
• Draw Assumptions for the project
• Gather Images Locally, in order to define
  parameters.
• Licence Plate Detection.
• Vehicle Classification.
• Character Identification.

Work Flow

• Collect Images.
• Find Aspect Ratio Number Plate.

Work Flow

• For Yellow plates, Make all regions with yellow
  color white and blacken all other. Similarly, for
  white.

Work Flow

• Dilate to fill in smaller cracks in objects.
• Find regions that match License Plate aspect
  Ratio maximum.

• Get X-Y axis of above area.
• Find the area in the image.

Work Flow

• Get X-Y axis of above area.
• Find the area in the image.
• Trim the license Plate to get only characters.
• Based on Area Report if the veh is
  Commercial/Private.
