Current Position
  • We have made our intention known that we want to
    continue working with providers who have been
    working well, and explore options for extending
    our agreements
  • - Looking for ways to drive best value from all
    our contracts, including Quality measures (to be
    discussed later)
  • Conversations and correspondence to this effect
    will commence later in November
  • Once we know how many vacant provider positions
    there will be, the tender process will begin
    (scheduled for mid-December 2009)
  • Working to organise an e-tendering tips workshop
    with the SCA for mid/later-November (in advance
    of tendering activity)

    to identify resource

    from zoned providers
  • Introduction of Key Performance Indicators linked
    to framework agreement renewal
  • - including safeguarding/complaints/missed
    visits/staff recruitment retention/continuity
    of care/ staff supervision 
  • Movement to create improved links within Surrey
    to gather and share quality monitoring
    information, including information relating to
    complaints and safeguarding
