Assess ongoing development programmes and policies

• Disaster management plan should approve through
  local self governance and before approval should
  debate and assess ongoing development programme

  development programmes both at state and national
  levels to assess the conscious efforts for
  building up disaster resilience
• ADB is in the process of reviewing SPU which
  combines three separate plicies related to
  environmental impact assessment with SIA for
  local communities and impact on indigenous
  community in the context of large infrastructural
  projects, where we could argue for incorporating
  DRR agenda

• Establish SE audit and review working group to
  build e-content on forum, consolidation of
  reports, review by other experts in the field and
  taking up with implementing body
• Taking the survey on impact of development on
  disaster risk beyond SE by sharing with other
  NGOs and academic institutions
• Explore opportunities to link ongoing development
  programmes and DRM

Accrediting community practices to scale-up

• Showcasing state level DM practices at national
  platform through some Mela

• In the context of man made disasters due to
  violation of pollution abatement norms there
  could be corpus fund generated by industry
  associations for treatment of victims without
