Annual Inservice -The Process
  • Human Resources will produce and distribute
    modules and answer key to managers.
  • Manager/designee will distribute modules to their
    employees. Post Test will be due back to the
    manager within two weeks.
  • Employees will read the module and complete the
    Post Test.
  • Employee will return the Post Test to their
    manager.
  • Managers will correct each test. A passing grade
    is 90 (0-3 answers incorrect).

Annual Inservice -The Process
  • If the employee receives a passing score, the
    manager will notify the employee.
  • If the test score is less than 90 (4 or more
    incorrect), the test will be returned to the
    employee for review and correction. The manager
    may review and correct the test with the
    employee.
  • The manager will document the employee name and
    date of completion on the Orientation and Annual
    Inservice Employee Completion spreadsheet
    located in G/Orientation.
  • Documentation of module completion will be due
    one month from distribution of the modules. When
    all employees in the department have completed
    the module and documentation in the spreadsheet
    is also complete, notify HR via email.

Annual Inservice -The Process
  • In the event an employee is unable to complete
    the module due to seasonal employment, leave of
    absence or medical leave, etc., then the manager
    will retain the module for completion upon the
    return of the employee. The manager will make a
    note pending in the date column for that
    employee on the spreadsheet.
  • Completed tests may be discarded once completion
    is documented on the spreadsheet.
  • Human Resources will monitor the Orientation and
    Annual Inservice spreadsheet for completion.

  • The module will be part of the hiring process.
  • Human Resources (HR) will distribute modules to
    newly hired employees upon hire. Post Test will
    be due back to HR within two weeks.
  • Employees will read the module and complete the
    Post Test.
  • Employee will return the Post Test to HR.
  • HR will correct each test. A passing grade is 90
    (0-3 answers incorrect).
