2005 Special Education Annual Data Report
(ADR)User Demo
  • Welcome to all ADR users
  • This demo will take you through the main steps of
    the ADR data reporting system.
  • Please, take some time to review this
  • information before you start the application.

Registration
  • All users must register their User ID and
  • Password with the Department Of Education
  • prior to using the application. This is done
    by
  • the district or charter school Web User
  • Administrator through the Homeroom
  • Website.

Enter System
  • To start the ADR application,
  • click the Enter button on the
  • Welcome screen

Login
  • Enter your 4-digit district code, User ID and
    Password. Then click the Login Button

Main Menu
  • Your District Code and District/County
  • names should appear on the
  • Main Menu screen

Registering on Web
  • The screen asks you to Register
  • information about the district/
  • charter school Special Education
  • Coordinator. This information is
  • used for mailings from the Office
  • of Special Education Programs.
  • Copies of those mailings are also
  • sent to the Chief School
  • Administrator or Lead Person.

ADR Tables
  • The Main Menu lists all
  • the tables with the brief
  • description of the data
  • required for entry in each
  • table.

Tables
  • When you click any of the table links
  • on the Main Menu, a table like the one
  • on the right will open up for you. The
  • gray shaded areas are no entry fields.
  • The green area shows the edits with
  • the corresponding tables (see edit
  • descriptions at the bottom of each
  • table).
  • Before you complete all the tables, these edits
    must be satisfied!

Problem with the Edits?
  • Use the Excel spread sheet from the
  • Welcome Page to verify the edits off line.
  • When the edits are satisfied, re-enter the
  • corrected data on the ADR web application.

Validation
  • After you have completed all of the tables,
  • go back to Main Menu and click on the
  • Validate button, at the bottom of the screen.

Validation Table
  • The validation table contains
  • all the validation massages for
  • all 12 tables, public and non-
  • public. If all edits are OK
  • click on Confirm All Edits
  • OK button. If, any of the
  • tables show errors go back to
  • those tables and resolve the
  • errors before continuing with
  • the application.

Validation Help
  • The help file at the top of the
  • validation page provides the
  • user with an edits help table.
  • You can refer to this table to
  • help resolve the errors for the
  • completion of the application.

Confirmed Edits
  • If your ADR reports are done, print a copy
    of each table for your records and send one to
    the county office of education. Unfortunately,
    some of the tables will print on more than one
    page. Next year we will build in a feature that
    will print each table on a single page. Sorry for
    the inconvenience! After printing, please click
    on Confirm Edits" button to go to the next page
    and confirm that your ADR report is finished!
