• You are expected to try your best!
• You are expected to come to class
  preparedtextbook (when needed), paper, pencil,
  planner, and homework.
• You are expected to put forth 100 effort
  throughout the entire class.

• Raise your hand for permission to speak.
• Stay in your seat during instruction.
• Bring all materials to class.
• Respect yourself and the people around you.
• When leaving the room, you must sign in and out.
• All rules in the Code of Conduct apply.

Rewards

• Stars are given for great behavior!
• Stars will be placed in a drawing.
• Drawings will take place each Friday.

Each day when you come into class

• Sharpen your pencil.
• Take out the previous nights homework.
• Copy down information from the board into your
  planner.
• Complete the warm-up
• Update your TOC
• Check homework

Skills Check

• What is a skills check?
• Review of basic information
• When will we have skills checks?
• Tuesday Wednesday-practice
• Thursday-graded
• This week will be adding/subtracting decimals!

Homework

• Assigned each night (with few exceptions).
• Must be completed in pencil and ALL work must be
  shown for credit.
• Each assignment will be worth 20 points for a
  weekly HW grade of 100.
• Points will be deducted for incomplete work.

Notebook

• You are required to have a math section of your
  notebook.
• A table of contents must be in front of the
  section.
• Notebooks will be graded regularly.

ROPES

• ROPES will be posted on the internet and on the
  bulletin board.
• ROPES will be assigned on Monday.
• ROPES are due on Wednesday.

Portfolios

• All your work will be kept in a portfolio.
• All work will be returned at the end of the nine
  weeks so that you can study for your exam.

Projects

• Projects will be assigned with each unit.
• You will be given a rubric that explains the
  expectations of the project.
• Limited time will be given in class to complete
  projects.

Grading Policy

• Daily 45
• Homework 10
• Tests 30
• 9-weeks Exam 15
• Assignments turned in late receive a 25 point
  deduction.

• If you are absent
• You are responsible to make up all assignments
• See a classmate and me to get all your make-up
  work

HELP!!

• If at any time you need help
• You may come in before school for assistance.
• I am available starting at 700 a.m.
• Have your parents write a note to get down the
  hallway.
