Logon or create a new account

Click on Need an account? for newaccount or
upgrade previous account
Keep the No radio button selection and continue
with creating the new account. Select Yes to
upgrade a previous E-Learning account.

Complete to create a new account
The account creator enters First Name and Last
Name. Council is selected from the pick
list. Member ID from unit or non-unit
registration may be entered. The Member ID will
allow update to person record when E-Learning
courses are completed.

New account creation is easy
  • Complete the MyScouting Registration with
    personal information for new account and click
    Submit.
  • Before submittal the user must enter a case
    sensitive security image and the account is ready
    for activation.
  • Activation requires one click on a link in an
    activation e-mail sent from MyScouting.

To Upgrade an account click Yes
User who had a previous E-Learning account enters
the User Name and account Password. The User
Name may not have been an e-mail address.

Check E-Mail Address verify step
If user had an e-mail address as previous
E-Learning User Name, the e-mail address must be
verified. The user may retain this address or
select I prefer to enter and confirm a
different e-mail address. The e-mail address
must be valid. If previous User Name was
different, then an e-mail address is required.

Upgrade account is completed
Once the upgrade to the new MyScouting account is
completed, the user may click the link to go to
www.scouting.org and logon to MyScouting. The
user may also close their browser and logon at
another time. If the users previous E-Learning
account had a history of courses taken, the
history was automatically transferred to the new
MyScouting account. The prior Online Learning
Center (E-Learning) account is no longer active.

Transfer E-Learning Courses
For persons creating new MyScouting accounts
without using Upgrade account, a feature on the
My Account selection is Transfer E-Learning
Training Courses. This is easily done by
entering the previous E-Learning User Name and
Password and confirming the Password. Multiple
E-Learning accounts may be transferred.
