Dekon is a long standing Main-Contractor with the
Sunway Group and we have the following vacancy
(with authorisation from The Sunway Group).
Civil Engineer

• RESPONSIBILITY
• Plan, implement and monitor the weekly programme
  to ensure project targets are met
• Develop and monitor project plan (includes
  timeline, resources, cost)
• Execute project plan, track and update
• Ensure that site material wastage is within
  budget
• Ensure that measurement claims are prepared and
  submitted promptly
• Study and highlight and resolve any discrepancies
  of drawings / BQ and specifications
• Liaise with relevant parties and authorities
  including subcontractors,
• transporters / suppliers
• Manage risk, people and progress in according to
  schedule and budget
• Able to create documentation, compiling the
  report and do the QA on the projects

• REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Technically competent to solve problems that
  arise from structure architecture works
• Knowledge in basic structural design system
  formwork is an added advantage
• Well-versed in project assistance programme such
  as PRIMAVERA, Microsoft Project
• and AutoCAD
• Good interpersonal skills and time management
• Posses good communication and site management
  skill
• Self motivated, hardworking and able to work
  independently under intense pressure
• Willing to travel and work out station
• Possess own transport
