10Broader scope of coverage when based in Denmark
11Demand for coverage from Denmark has increased
last couple of years
12Main reasons for increased demand
- This is largely a function of the cartoons and
the troops in Iraq first and now in Afghanistan
but also increasingly from the climate story
leading up to next years big climate conference - The intrest has increased because Denmark in
some points is seen as an example (for instance
flexicurity/childcare system). And of course the
cartoon crisis.. - Key events leading to the increased interest are
the Muhammad cartoon crisis and the speculation
surrounding Anders Fogh Rasmussen as either NATO
general secretary or EU president
