Title: Let Your Life Count Chapter 9
1Let Your Life CountChapter 9
2Not that I have already obtained all this, or
have been made perfect, but I press on to take
hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of
me. Phil 32
3Have you ever felt someone was not up to a
particular task and they surprised you by
accomplishing it?
4Who encourages YOU to let your life count?
5 Your lack of qualifications may be the very
thing that makes you MOST qualified to let your
life count in the real world, where ordinary
people live.
6Noah was 600 years old when the flood came.
7Mary was around13 years old when she became the
mother of Jesus.
8David was the youngest son, yet he became King.
9Shepherds were the first people that God
announced the birth of His son to...yet they were
considered low on the social totem pole.
10Peter was a gruff, outspoken fisherman.
11Rahab was a prostitute.
12Is there a younger woman that you are
training? (Titus 23-5)
13Have you ever grown spiritually when you were
helping another to grow spiritually?
14God meets us where we are, but loves us too much

16One by one Jesse's sonsStood before the
prophetTheir father knew a kingWould soon be
foundAnd each one passedExcept the lastNo one
thought to call himSurely he would neverWear a
crown
17But when others see a shepherd boyGod may see a
kingEven though your life seems filledWith
ordinary thingsIn just a moment He can touch
youAnd everything will changeWhen others see a
shepherd boyGod may see a king
18One by one problems comeAnd dreams get
shatteredAnd sometimes it's hardTo
understandBut things like chanceAnd
circumstanceThey don't really matterOur Father
holds tomorrowIn His hands
19Well it wasn't the oldestIt wasn't the
strongestChosen on that dayAnd yet the giants
fellAnd nations trembledWhen they stood in his
way
20But when others see a shepherd boyGod may see a
kingEven though your life seems filledWith
ordinary thingsIn just a moment He can touch
youAnd everything will changeWhen others see a
shepherd boyGod may see a king
