THE HISTORY OF ONMA

• June 7. 1944 Odesa Higher Marine School was
  formed.
• May 29. 1958 OHMS was renamed into Odesa Higher
  Engineering Marine School (OHEMS).
• April 26. 1991 OHMES was transformed into Odesa
  State Maritime Academy (OSMA).
• November 21. 2002 OSMA was given the National
  status and the name of Odesa National Maritime
  Academy.
