AG IMAGE What is Agimage Landonline

• Uses Landsat SPOT data to 0.1 hectare
• satellite sensors detect variation in crop
  greenness or biomass
• Calculates NDVI which is a measure of greenness
  of vegetation
• Links NDVI to forecasted crop yields and gross
  margins
• Provides multidate crop comparisons

AG IMAGE Project Outcomes

• This prototype has proved the concept of a
  generic web-based system using DOLAs cadastre to
  subset geographic data
• This development can be extended easily to other
  e-business applications for spatial data
• subsetting and delivery of cadastral data now
  demonstrated
• integration of raster and vector data
  demonstrated
