Post War Great Britain

  rebel in 1916 in the Easter Revolt.

  Army won independence for Catholic S. Ireland.

• Benito Mussolini introduced Fascism to the
  Italian Government
• Fascism- Dictatorship where complete loyalty to
  gov. was demanded.
• Mussolinis Black Shirts quickly took over Italy
• Sons of the Wolf taught Fascism to youth

• Joseph Stalin and Leon Trotsky fought for control
  of Russia after Lenins death.
• Stalin won power and had Trotsky executed.
• Stalin used a Command Economy where the
  government made all economic decisions.

  supposed to increase Russian Farming

Post War Germany

• In Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler talked of his goals
  of racial purity and his speeches gained many
  followers.
• By 1930, the Nazi party was dominating Germany
  with Hitler as the leader.

• Hitler declared himself the Fuhrer of Germany.
• Jews were increasingly mistreated and harassed.
• His Third Reich was designed to purify and bring
  glory to Germany.
• In 1936, Germany allied herself with Italy
  Rome-Berlin Axis
