Activity Objectives

• In this exercise, you will get to
• apply all you have learnt in previous modules
• enhance your skill in quick sketching for idea
  generation

Instructions

• Design and draw 5 different designs for a PDA
  (Palm or PocketPC), each taking no more than 5
  minutes
• One design per page
• Use colour pencils to colour the drawing
• Sign and date your drawing

Useful Tips

• Choose an appropriate viewing angle
• Skip unnecessary details (e.g. LCD screen
  display) to save time
• Capture critical details (e.g. major icons and
  labels on key pad) to maximize communicative
  effect of the drawing and make it look more
  completed
• Use expressive and solid colours for the device
  and add background colour where appropriate to
  make it stand out
