2Students log in to CRCT Online
3From the Welcome screen, students can choose to
take Practice Testlets or Teacher Assigned
Testlets
4To take a practice testlet, click Practice

5Student will have one practice test for each
subject area
6Highlight test and click Take Test
7After completing the test, the student sees the
results of the test .
8and decides whether to send score to a teacher,
to save the score, or to discard it
9To take a teacher created and assigned test,
click on Teacher-Assigned Testlets
10Highlight test and click Take Test
11Students answer the multiple choice questions,
clicking on Next Question to go to the next page
or Grade My Test when finished
12Students immediately see the test results

- Assign tests to class
- View reports of student performance on
teacher-assigned testlets - View reports of student performance on student
practice testlets (if students send test results
to the teacher)
14To create a new test, click on Test Design Center
15Click Tests
16Click on New to create a new test
17Determine the properties of the test.
18 and, if desired, set score ranges
19Choose a subject area
20 then choose a grade level
21 then choose a Domain area
22 then click Search
23You will then see a bank of test items for that
subject, grade, domain .
24Select the items you want in the test from the
available pages of questions, then click Add

25You can then preview the test, add items from
other domains or subject areas, change the
position of the items and/or create the test
26Once tests are created, they can be assigned to
classes
- Click Assign Tests to Students
27Select the title of the class to which you want
to assign a test, then click Assign Tests
28To assign a new test, click New
29From the lists of available tests, click on the
test(s) you want to assign, set any parameters
for the assignment, and click Finish.
30Teachers can view reports of student test results
by going to the Results Center.
31Click View Reports
32Choose a report title, then click Show Report
33Choose the class for which you want to view
results and click Next .
34Choose the test for which you want to view
results and click Next
35Reports can be printed as well as viewed online
36Teachers can also view the results of Practice
tests if students send the results to teachers
37Click on Practice Test Results
38Highlight a test and click Select
39Highlight a student and click Select
40Highlight a test instance and click Playback
41View the test results, then click Close
