- Poems must not have been previously published,
self-published or published on a website or
broadcast before 1 June 2009. - Poems must be the original work of the author.
Any infringement of competition rules and
regulations will disqualify the student from
taking part in the competition or winning an
award.

- Each poem must be given a title
- Neither School name nor students name should be
included - Poems typed and printed in 14-pt Times New Roman
- School assign a number to each entry form, from
1, 2, 3 - Save all softcopy on to a disc

English Teachers Network

- Certificate of The Poets of the School Award
- Authors of the best entries selected from schools
nominating not less than 10 students. - Entries of the winners have to demonstrate a high
