• To show how students at Macmillan Academy are
  using video to enhance learning in the classroom

• Mobile phones are often thought of as a nuisance
  in the classroom. Can this readily available
  resource be used in learning?
• Digital still cameras are relatively cheap. Can
  they be used to produce acceptable video?
• Can the expense of a full scale TV studio be
  justified in a secondary school?
• What is the future of Podcasting and iPhones in
  education?

• All above skills can be delivered through media

• Technology readily available in the classroom
• Student friendly medium generates enthusiasm
• Easy to use once file formats sorted out
• Video quality acceptable
• After conversion output can be processed by PCs

• Still output can be integrated readily into eg

• Video output and sound can be used as cheap
  resource instead of video cameras
• Produce small sized files fewer storage problems
