• Policy
• Review of Baltic 21 Action Programme Assessment
  of Baltic 21 Structure and Programme (March 2009)
• Baltic 21 new thematic approach will be visible
  in some key activities within the EcoRegion
  project, such as the development of thematic
  periodicals, the EcoRegion good practice database
  and the Baltic 21 Action Plan 2010-2015.
• Study on climate change
• EcoRegion project will serve as a testing ground
  for new ways of working both cross-sectorally and
  horizontally, and contribute to closing the
  project-policy loop
• Capacity building programme
• Workshop on elaboration of Aalborg Commitment
  baseline review, Lahti, September 23-24, 2009
• Thematic Periodicals
• first thematic periodical will be published by
  December 2009, focus on EU Strategy for the
  Baltic Sea Region and on tourism related flagship
  projects, as well as ongoing tourism related
  projects and activities
• Good practices
• 25 good practices collected by each sector and
  uploaded onto database until March 2010
• Open, free of charge accessible database in the
  making, frist version is expected to go online by
  summer 2010
• Dissemination
• communication plan, launch of website and flyer,
  conference documentation

  Good Practices on Sustainable Tourism Development
  in the Baltic Sea Region, 25 Mai in Riga
• Forest Sector Baltic Landscape network meeting,
  9 10 September in Kristianstad
• Agriculture Sector Conference on Phosphorus
  Recycling and Good Agricultural Management
  Practice. 28 September 2009 in Berlin
• successful 2nd EcoRegion partner conference
  including two regional workshops on elaboration
  of Aalborg Commitment baseline review and sector
  workshop on good practice database, 21 24
  September in Lahti
• cooperation meeting of BLA21F and EcoRegion, 23
  September 2009 in Lahti, was intended to promote
  cooperation and exchange between these two
  initiatives, which are both dedicated to
  sustainable development and which aim to
  strengthen Local Agenda 21 processes in the BSR
• 3rd EcoRegion partner conference in Vaxjö,
  Sweden, 26 28 January 2010 under preparation
