GISDs Project Purpose
  • to increase career awareness and economic
    opportunity by encouraging the pursuit of
    nontraditional career opportunities for young
    women in grades 8-11

  • Accepted 91 students in grades 8 11 (focus of
    career planning model)
  • Participating students from 14 local school
    districts
  • Utilized web-based EDP to assist with
    identification of appropriate students
