What similarities are there between ancient Greek
schools and our school?
At school we learn reading, writing and maths. We
also learn singing and musical instruments.
Only children from rich families can go to
school, because you have to pay.
Girls dont usually go to school, they are mostly
educated at home.
We start school at the age of seven and stay
until we are about fourteen.
After school most children learn a job or trade.
The richer ones might go to Athens to study with
a philosopher.
