• 1954 Hydraulic Excavator Business Started
• 1966 Introduction of the first LIEBHERR
  hydraulic excavator specifically tailored for
  application in the mining industry (RT1000,
  21t, 130 hp, 1,2 m³)

  over 100 t (R991 HD, 135t, 688 hp, 7,6 m³)
• 1995 Introduction of the 580t R 996 Litronic
