Weather Vane Procedure

Introduction

• On August 16th we had a woodwork class called
  Wood Work Room. We made a Weather Vane.

Step 1

• First we received two rectangular pieces of ply
  wood with grey lead lines on.

Step 2

• We then cut along the grey lead lines with a
  coping saw.

Step 3
After that we received a bigger piece of wood and
some rough sand paper to sand all of the wood.

Step 4

• Next we nailed the spinner to the long piece of
  wood just tight enough so it would spin.

Step 5
We nailed the spinner to its stand using two
small nails.

Step 6
Next we glued the point to the spinner and had
the wind catcher hot glued on to the other end of
spinner.

Step 7
After that we had the option to paint our weather
vane and they were finished.
