Who Can Use The Computer Lab?

• Faculty
• Staff
• Students with Internet sticker

Who Can Not Use The Computer Lab?

• Anyone who does not have a sticker
• Anyone who has previously lost privileges
• Students who do not have permission and a pass
  from a classroom teacher
• If all computers are in use, students will be
  sent back to class
• Anyone wishing to use the lab at the same time
  another class is scheduled

When Can You Use The Computer Lab?

• Before school - by appointment
• During the school day
• with a scheduled class
• from study hall or class with permission pass,
  if a computer station is available
• After school - by appointment

To use the computer lab during the school day . .
.

• Report to your regular classroom teacher for
  attendance
• Obtain permission and a pass from your regular
  classroom teacher
• Proceed quietly to the computer lab 219
• Log in
• Complete assignment
• Log out
• Return to regular classroom at least 5 minutes
  before the dismissal bell rings

Materials

• Student file storage (always save a copy on the
  network)
• Pre-used floppies are free but not used in lab
  219
• Memory sticks (jump drives, flash drives)
  student supplies
• CDs student supplies available in media
  center for purchase
• Paper/Printing
• must obtain permission before printing
• color 0.25 per page

Computer Lab Rules

• New Computers no gum candy drink, etc
• New Chairs no gum candy drink, etc
• No food, drink or candy
• Everyone must log in using your user name and
  password
• DO NOT CHANGE COMPUTER SETTINGS!
• No talking without permission
• Backpacks should be left in the front of the room
• Students must have permission before printing

Acceptable Use Policy

• FSD1 Student Acceptable Use Policy
• Do not check personal email
• No chat rooms, instant messaging, downloading
  files (music, movies)
• Do not log in as another user
• Do not reveal private information
• Do not attempt to or by pass Internet Filter
