Check Your Own Platform

• Use command uname a on the terminal

Download Executable Binary

• AMS is for SmartSpice
• TCAD is for TCAD

Unpackage the binary

• Switch to root account
• Make a new directory for Silvaco tools
• Un-tar the binary to the directory
• Un-tar every binary to the same directory

Setup Environment Variables

• Take C-shell for instance
• set path (/silvaco/bin path)
• /silvaco/ is the installation directory. Please
  specify exact installation path.
• setenv SFLM_SERVERS License_Server_IP

• License_Server_IP -gt 140.120.90.116

Start Program

• Reopen a new terminal
• Try smartspice for SmartSpice
• Try deckbuild for TCAD
