1.0 Introduction
  • The buttons around the edge of the LCD panel are
    called soft-keys.
  • For this presentation they are labelled SK-1 to
    SK-10.
  • These access the available data as depicted by
    the screen icons.

1.1 Description of the Tellus Keys
  • The power button - turns the virtual terminal
    on/off. Not the harvester, only the screen.
  • Scrolls the cursor to the left one space at a
    time, when in a selected user enterable field.
  • Scrolls the cursor to the right one space at a
    time, when in a selected user enterable field.
  • Access the virtual terminal screen settings.
  • Increases the value of a selected field. Or, if
    field not selected, increases the display
    brightness.
  • Decreases the value of a selected field. If a
    field not selected, decreases the display
    brightness.

  • Escape, can be used while editing a value or to
    revert to the original value.
  • Accepts the changes made to the user enterable
    fields.
  • Free function keys, used on some implements. Not
    used on the 1000-series grape harvester.

  • Home - returns to the road mode/harvest mode
    screen.
  • Next - scrolls to the next page.
  • Previous - scrolls to the previous page.
  • Help - goes to the joystick switch information
    page.
  • Spanner - goes to the service pin page.
  • Looking glass - goes to the electrical
    diagnostics.

  • Engine diagnostics -goes to the engine
    diagnostics page.
  • Goes to the memory settings screen. 3 memory
    banks are available to store machine settings.
    Hold for 5 seconds until a double beep sounds.
    The red dot shows which memory bank is used.
  • Field reports - goes to the harvester field
    report page.
  • Numeric - when selected displays the actual RPM
    values on the harvester mode screen.
  • Cruise control - sets the cruise control ON.
  • Park brake - when the park brake is in manual
    mode this soft key turns the park brake on/off.
