OBSERVATIONS
  • The practice has succeeded in a professional
programme with limited intake capacity where
control over the students is comparatively
    easier.
  • An average B.Ed student is at least a graduate
with 45-50 marks in the qualifying examination
while about 33 B.Ed students have additional and
higher qualifications in addition to graduation.
  • Girls and Boys are in the ratio of 21 in the
    course.

14
  • Course is of one year duration and students
    mobility is ensured every year.
  • Students have a hectic time table with fewer
avenues of free time and leisure.
  • Being a professional college the instances and
avenues of students activism and politics are
    very less.

15
THE MARCH AHEAD
  • New feedback format being aimed at summative
    assessment.
  • Involvement of Alumni in the feedback process.

16
  • Mandatory feedback from all students and
    faculty.
  • Database of students background variables,
interests and talents for better participation.
  • Induction and orientation regarding their roles
and expectations in the quality assessment and
    assurance process.

17
  • Provision of Placement Services.
  • Value Added Courses.
  • Remedial and Enrichment Programmes.
  • Introduction of Electronic Classroom Project

18
  • Diversified programmes in the areas of
  • Special Education
  • Guidance and Counselling
  • Empowerment of Women
  • Involving students with educational experiments
    and innovations
  • Setting up of IQAC as a sequel to NAAC
    Accreditation
