In this short presentation I will

• Place a shared LLN Portfolio into the context of
  the emerging national infrastructure, archived
  ePortfolios and employment.
• Identify the demand factor to get a good job to
  get an HE place or, increasingly to get a good
  job through the right HE.
• What emerges from this work are
• Striking similarities between UCAS and Job
  recruitment processes
• An interesting parallel with the services being
  developed for public advice and guidance in
  Holland and Belgium using an employability
  ePortfolio.

  currently in development in Holland
• Could a UK version be deployed within an regional
  advice and guidance service?
• Setting challenging but realistic goals for 14-19
  year olds?
• Focused on career outcomes as much as academic
  opportunities.
• Attracting under represented groups to HE at age
  19 and age 25 and.
• A demand led ePortfolio for Employment
