Introduction to MR Image Distortion

• MR images helps in the determination of tumor in
  relation to the surrounding tissues for Surgeries
  and radiotherapy planning.
• However, the exact locations are hampered by the
  Geometric and Intensity distortions.

Results
Cylinder distortion with Bo1.5T, R70mm and Gr
of 10mT/m for 10ppm susceptibility difference.

• Try finding new Algorithms to Correct for MR
  Distortions.
• Correcting for Signal Loss due to in homogeneties
  in EPI and GE Sequences.
• Interested in Parametric MR Image reconstruction
  for my PhD research.
