FEANTSAs contribution
  • FEANTSAs contribution to this peer review draws
on the experience and practices of its members
    across the EU
  • What is the relevance of DELTA for the
    homelessness sector?
  • What are the questions that arise in relation to
DELTA for people who are homeless?
  • What are the strong points of DELTA for people
    who are homeless?

4
The relevance of DELTA for the homeless sector
  • Delta targets  people who suffer from a
combination of medical, physical, social and
    work-related problems
  • Homeless people often combine several interacting
health and social needs and the multiple needs
add up to a high aggregate of vulnerability
    across a range of areas.
  • For this reason, FEANTSA has long advocated a
joined up way of working, whereby services are
brought together and one service can be a gateway
    to others

5
What are the questions in relation to DELTA from
the homeless sector?
  • What is the role of NGOs and the voluntary
    sector?
  • Where is housing in the joined-up services?
  • What are the gateways into DELTA?

6
What are the questions in relation to DELTA from
the homeless sector?
  • Should employment be the driving aim?
  • Employment or Employability?
  • Embedding DELTA into a Prevention Agenda?

7
Some strong points of DELTA for people who are
homeless
  • Doing away with administrative hurdles and
    promoting coordinated working
  • A strong formal basis for cooperation
