OUR EQUIPMENT

• Radio Detection RD4000
• A cable location tool as oppose to a cable
  avoidance tool (CAT), the RD4000 allows our
  engineers to follow and plot the route of any
  given electric cable.
• Used in conjunction with a Genny signal
  transmitter, we can also plot the route and depth
  of any metallic utilities, such as Cast Iron
  Water/Gas Pipes.

OUR EQUIPMENT
Mala Geoscience Easy Locator GPR. The Easy
Locator, Ground Penetrating Radar systems allows
our engineers to locate, depth and trace the
route of all non-metallic utilities such as
Plastic Pipes, Fibre Optic cables, Clay pipes,
Ducts etc. To a depth of up to 4.5 metres.

Used in conjunction with the RD4000 This allows
our engineers to build the overall picture of
what utilities lie buried.

OUR EQUIPMENT
IDS Detector GPR System. The Detector, Ground
Penetrating Radar machine is the latest addition
to our equipment. By adding an alternative radar
system to compliment the Mala machine gives our
engineers the best possible chance of a positive
location. As both systems work on different
frequencies, with the Detector transmitting at
700Mhz it produces more clarity at shallower
depths than the 500Mhz Mala, that offers better
results at deeper depths. Using both machines in
tandem, therefore produces optimum results.

OUR EQUIPMENT
RIDGID SR20 Cable Pipe Locator. The Ridgid SR20
is the very latest technology in Cable Pipe
location. The main advantage of this equipment,
is that it allows us to virtually map the utility
in real time from the display screen. This in
turn Increases productivity by showing depth
changes in real time including the ability to
accurately depth electric cables.

OUR EQUIPMENT

• Topcon GTS 825A Robotic Total Station
• Once confirmed, the routes and depths of the
  buried utilities will be collected by use of a
  Topcon robotic total station and overlaid onto
  your supplied Topographic drawing as separate
  layers in AutoCAD format. If no topographic
  information is available we can undertake this
  element for you, alternatively our results can be
  overlaid onto an Ordnance Survey base plan.

  necessary Health Safety work wear, cones,

• When time is of the essence and immediate
  knowledge of the underground is required. CUBE
  will literally mark out our findings on the
  ground before you. Each utility is colour coded
  and marked in biodegradable paint. Marking the
  route of each utility and noting the depth and
  depth changes along the course of the utility. No
  drawings are provided using this method

• Electronic Trial Pits / Slit Trenches
• Replace traditional hand dug investigation with
  CUBE non-invasive trial pits or electronic slit
  trenches. Typical trial pits are a 3m x 3m x 3 m
  cube. The slit trenches tend to be full road
  width x 3m x 3m. The area is marked out on site
  and a Plan View and Cross Sectional Drawing is
  provided.
• A Digital photograph can be added if desired.

• Provided in Auto cad format. CUBE will supply an
  As Built underground utility map of your site.
• Data will be added in layers to your original
  Topographic Survey or Ordnance Survey base plan.
  Alternatively, we can undertake the whole project
  and provide the topographic survey, along with
  the utility information. The client receives this
  information electronically, on CD Rom and in hard
  copy.If requested this can also be provided on
  acetate.
