• Widening Horizons Educational Internship
  provides experiential opportunities for
  intermediate/senior teacher candidates to
  increase their awareness of workplace,
  apprenticeship and college destinations for
  students leaving high school.

Expected Outcomes

• Increase career opportunities for workplace and
  college destination students
• Enhance awareness of apprenticeship programs
• Encourage links with community partners
• Provide links with students in high schools

  various employability skills as identified by
  the Conference Board of Canada
