Where Im From

• I grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois.
• Right by OHare
• Hillary Clintons hometown.
• I went to the University of Illinois in Champaign
  Urbana.

My Family

• I have one Brother, Pat who is 18 and goes to
  Williams in MA.
• My parents are Bob and Sandy they are both NOT
  teachers.

What Im Doing When Not Teaching

• I was the VP of Alum Relations for Sigma Kappa
  Sorority when I was in college
• I love watching TV, even though I advise students
  not to watch too much when they should be doing
  homework.

Why I Teach

• I hate the idea of an office job.
• I enjoy working with kids.
• I enjoy having a lot of control over my work
  environment.
• I was inspired by a great teacher in 5th grade,
  and since then I want to impact children just
  like she impacted me.

Future Goals

• I want to go to Grad school (hopefully
  Northwestern) to get a Masters or some sort of
  certification in gifted education.
• I would like to eventually also get a degree in
  school administration as well.
• In the very distant future I would like to be a
  gifted coordinator for a district or in some
  administrative position.
