• The purpose of the family unit is to rear
  children that they would execute justice and

• However the family unit has seen many changes
  over the years in its authority, its structure
  and none of these changes are positive.

• As we observe the changes to the family unit it
  is evident that a main figure is missing, which
  is the man. We do not see man any where in the
  family structure, therefore the family unit as
  become broken. The woman is left with the
  responsibility to rear the family on her own and
  struggles in tough economic and morally
  challenging times. In addition each members of
  the family is affected, especially the children
  who are the weaker ones are severely affected.

• The strength of any nation depends on strong
  family structure, authority and its members.
• However families are unable to rear children
  (citizens) that would contribute positively to
  society because the father is not present to give
