  didn't take off for your numbers being different
• Growth efficiency is calculated as Total
  Growth/Total Consumption, both in grams.
  Normally we simplify this so the numerator is a
  "1", therefore it is easy to interpret. ie a
  growth efficiency of 120 means you get 1 gram of
  growth from 20 grams of consumption.
• Shouldn't the cumulative (another word for total)
  prey eaten for each category add up to the total
  consumption?
• Last question, we asked you to think
  realistically. Has anyone heard of a zooplankton
  hatchery? You can't stock dipterans. You could
  add predators, that's easy, you could increase
  harvest to reduce competition, that's pretty
  do-able. You could even fertilize...maybe, but
  you can't stock fish food.
