Course number is simply the course name, number,
section, semester and faculty name. Important to
make sure that this information is accurate ASAP.

Survey type is the type of survey UAA uses. At
this time it is the Diagnostic, which is the long
form. This may change in the future.

not completed survey, and was released

- Encourage faculty to complete FIF in a timely
manner. The reminder e-mails will cease as soon
as FIF is completed. - Encourage faculty to encourage students to
complete the survey.
17How do we encourage faculty?
- Deans and Directors or designated person
can/should be kept in the loop as to who and who
has not completed the FIF. They can give gentle
reminders of the importance of completing FIF for
valid results.
18How do we encourage students to complete survey?
- Faculty announce in class
- Put in syllabus
- Post reminders on BlackBoard
- Posters and flyers in college, classes, around
campus - Take class to a computer lab and everyone do the
survey
