Mykolas Romeris University

• 2004 Under decision of the Parliament the Law
  University of Lithuania (as HEI it started in
  1990) was awarded a name of Mykolas Romeris
  University
• Total number of students 16 thousand
• Number of staff 1075, of them 720 teachers (374
  holding scientific degree)
• Total annual budget of University over 52 mln.

• Related with the objectives of the FP6 Specific
  Programme Integrating and Strengthening the
  European Research Area, Priority 7 "Citizens and
  governance in the knowledge based society" as
  well as support of Lisbon process and EU
  sustainable development strategy

  important both at the national and EU level.
