Preparatory Prayer Open, O Lord, my mouth to
bless thy holy Namecleanse also my heart from
all vain, evil, and wandering thoughts
enlighten my understanding and kindle my
affections, that I may worthily, attentively,
and devoutly say this Office, and so be meet to
be heard before the presence of thy divine
Majesty. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Scripture Reading 1 Pet 13-5 Blessed be

Concluding prayer Almighty, ever-living
God, whose love surpasses all that we ask or
deserve, open up for us the treasures of your
mercy. Forgive all that weighs on our
conscience, and grant us more even than we dare
to ask. We make our prayer through our Lord Jesus
Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. R
