Role of Risk Management Committee (1)

• Review RM strategy and policy, and recommend for
  approval
• Review the risk appetite and tolerance and
  recommend for approval
• Review completeness of the risk identification
  and assessment
• Evaluate effectiveness of risk mitigation
  strategies
• Report to the accounting officer any material
  changes to the institutions risk profile
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the fraud
  prevention plan

• Monitor implementation of action plans to address
  findings and recommendations by assurance
  providers
• Develop key performance indicators for the
  committee
• Develop goals, objectives and key performance
  indicators to measure the effectiveness of the
  risk management function
