TRAINEE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS
Starting salary 9,177 per annum rising by
increments of approx 1,000 every six months
(based on performance) to 18,345 per annum
shift allowance overtime
Nissan is a truly world-class company whose

with the introduction of a new cross-over vehicle
here at Sunderland it is an exciting time to join
us on a unique apprenticeship scheme in the
fast-moving and challenging environment of one of
Europes most productive car plants. Developed in
conjunction with NA-College and a local College,
this five year scheme will give you a valuable
insight into all aspects of automotive and
manufacturing maintenance and will equip you with
valuable new skills. Directly employed by
NA-College, youll spend your first year
completing off-the-job training at the Skills
Academy at Gateshead College, with the following
four years spent both on day-release and
full-time in the plant where youll have the
chance to work with the most up-to-date
manufacturing equipment in the industry. To join
us and gain a range of qualifications, including
NVQs, First Diploma, National Diploma and a
Foundation Degree, you must be over 16 with at
least four GCSEs including Maths (Grade A or B),
English and a science based subject preferably
Physics (Grade C or above) or equivalent. Apply
