17A New Mentoring Model
- Based on the full-time mentor model of the New
Teacher Center (Univ. of California-Santa Cruz) - Create a professional team of full-time mentors
- Serve ILTs on a 151 ratio in a non-evaluative
capacity - Receive extensive and ongoing training based on
the New Teacher Center model

- Collaborate with each ILT for at least one hour
each week - Focus on instructional practices
