  are long and downloading takes time
• storage space to save what you see an d gather is

  interesting, or even wrong
• Cyberspace - may be addictive
• Cyberspace - is changing the way we live and the
  way we conduct business
• it will be inconceivable, in ten years, not to
  use some of these resources as we cannot think
  today of conducting business without the
  telephone
• Cyberspace - is further distancing the haves from
  the have nots

• at this point in time Cyberspace is less commerce
  than community
• over the next three years cyberspace will become
  more commerce than community
• the technology triggered a great race of direct
  person to person communications, organized not
  top down but more horizontal and democratic by
  nature

• over 10000 discussion groups (newsgroups)
  distributed through many Internet computes
• subjects vary from high energy physics to the
  treatment of diseases in humans
• despite some of its recent negative press most of
  the Internet functions have a very positive
  social value
