• Spring Semester (3 credits FOR441 or BIO
  499/599)
• The class will meet weekly to prepare for the
  field excursion to Nicaragua during spring break.
  The course will cover topics in insect ecology,
  behavior, taxonomy, as well as conservation,
  biodiversity, and evolution, and will emphasize
  hypothesis testing, research methods, and field
  experimentation.

Course Fee 2200 per student (est.) Fee
includes lodging, food, travel to country and
within country, field instructional materials and
supplies. Cost does not include tuition,
insurance, travel documentation, and application
fee . Students will be required to obtain their
own passport, international student card
medical preparations. All students and staff
will depart and return together from Flagstaff.
