My bird looks like

• Color Brown, white, looks like it has
  necklace.
• Size 8inches long. Robin sized Bird.
• Beak pointed beak for eating seeds.
• Feet walking and running feet.

My birds habitat

• They nest in the short grass of pastures.

• Grasshoppers
• Beetles,
• Ticks
• Mosquitoes
• Flies
• Worms
• Other insects

These things are special about my bird.

• The killdeer nests on the ground
• Adults protect their nest by pretending they are
  hurt. Then the predator goes away.
