• Our dual-beam IR sensor
• Does NOT detect H2!!

Detector measures the energy not absorbedby
target gas at a specific wave length.
The sapphire window protects the source and
detector against corrosive gases (Cl2, NH3,
etc.).
The source emits energy which is measured by the
detector.

• Not for now, for various reasons (fitting,
  software, corrosive gases, etc.)

  the existing ORIONplus?
• No, too cumbersome and costly
• Why is the IR sensor different?
• Protects the lamp and sensor against corrosive
  gases (sapphire window). Life time of IR sensor
  will decrease dramatically without this
  protection
• Why is the inlet changed?
• Current inlet reacts with corrosive gases

• No, H2 is invisible to IR light (no absorption)
  
• Can the 20L response factors be applied on the IR

• No, the IR technology works differently, is more
