• Researching innovative DTT services addressed

  inclusion initiatives in Brazil.

  manage the exploitation of the assets and
  services implemented by the project activities

• Dissemination of the project results and
  providing research data retreived from the pilot
  runs to the appropriate (Brazilian) stakeholders
  in order to contribute to any relevant
  policy-making processes in the field of deploying
  DTT technology and DTT services.

• DTT Interoperability
• Creation of interoperability for Digital
  Terrestrial Televison between Europe (DVB-MHP)
  and Brasil (ISDTV-T) through a GEM-based solution
  (Globally Executable MHP).
• Establishment of a DTT Platform and DTT Services
  Centre in Sao Paulo.

Project Expected Results

• T-Learning, learning through iDTVDefinition of
  distance learning through digital television,
  related to social inclusion. This issue is
  underdeveloped since the majority of learning
  activities through IDTV so far have been
  developed by broadcasting companies rather then
  by the educational world.

• In-depth evaluation of the tLearning servicesA
  User-Centred Design (UCD) evaluation
  methodology during the pilot phase will enable
  the definition of a sustainable model for
  tLearning development, particularly customised
  for the Latin-American market.

• Establishment of a Brasilian-European Consortium
  A BR-EU Consortium will manage the exploitation
  of the research outcomes resulting from the
  project activities, beyond the projects lifetime.
