  • Recommending acquisition of a new
    standards-based, Web-based gradebook for
    elementary teachers
  • High-priority need to support Strategic District
    Improvement Plan goals for instruction and
    technology
  • Will provide schools with a tool to ease the
    collection and reporting of grades (including
    TEKS standards mastery) and attendance to parents
    and administrators
  • Program will print progress reports and report
    cards, in a customized format, designed by
    Elementary Instruction and the Gradebook / Report
    Card Committee
  • Will include a parent portal component

    program for the standards-based, Web-based

    host the gradebook software at Central
    Office3. Installation of software and hardware

    functions6. Training for District staff

    August, 2006

  • New look for Parent Connection debuts May 1, for
    Phase II Pilot
  • Pilot schools are Stevenson MS and Clark HS
  • Parent notification letter and help document

  • Parents of these two schools can view some of
    their students Curriculum Management System
    information
  • Longitudinal enrollment and academic record
  • TAKS, SAT, SDAA, etc. assessment results (up to
    11 different tests)
