• 4-5 hrs drive from Keflavik Airport.
• The first and last night in Reykjavík ?
• Dates approx. August 24th to September 3rd 2008
• Accomodation in Langamýri.

• Saudarkrokur Comprehensive College
• Presentation about Icelandic turf houses
• We will rebuild one house of turf
• people who is ready to work and get dirty
• Recognize ruins of turf houses in the landscape
  (surveying)

• Langamýri
• 26 people in 15 rooms, 11 single rooms, 4 double
  rooms (not en-suite bathrooms). One apartment
• 80-90 per person per day (most meals included)
• Meetingroom
• Used to be a boarding school of domestic science

• Tyrfingsstaðir
• the farmhouse was built late 19th century to 1904
• people lived there until 1969
• has not been used since
• reconstruction began last year
• guided by Skagafjörður Folk Museum
• done by students in The Heritage School
