Abstract

• The EDS-MetaVance Solution Centre leverages
  AllFusion Gen as its Model Driven Development
  and Integrated Development Environment for
  producing the MetaVance Health Care Finance and
  Administration product. Recently, I have been
  asked Why AllFusion Gen for MetaVance?.
  MetaVance is considered a mission critical
  application for Health Insurance companies. This
  session covers significant business and technical
  reasons why AllFusion Gen was selected and
  continues to be leveraged as the Integrated
  Development Environment for the MetaVance product
  development.

Biography

• Larry SchmidtEDS
• I am responsible for the architectures which
  support the MetaVance Healthcare Administration
  and Finance products. I lead a group of
  Technical Consultants who work together to
  establish the tactical and strategic technical
  direction for our product. I have been a member
  of the EDS team for 24 years now with 22 years
  of Healthcare experience. I have support
  Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance accounts
  and several of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield
  plans. I have also taught in EDS' University,
  specializing in application development,
  architecture and database technologies. I also
  serve our EDGE community as a Board member. I
  enjoy applications performance tuning.
