What is the research question?

• What is the impact of enterprise focussed modules
  on a students self-efficacy
• Measured by the student rating their perceptions
  of themselves (using a questionnaire)
• Deepened by 1-1 interviews exploring antecedents,
  attitudes, desires and future career choices
• Mapped against module descriptors

Research Methods

• Tested research instrument - Banduras
  Self-efficacy theory
• 1 pre-test and 2 post-test completions
• Students own perceptions of their
  skills/abilities
• Attitudes to different career options
• Qualitative data i.e. 1-1 student interviews and
  module learning outcomes

Explicit-implicit

• Emerge in our research, particularly as a
  consequence of the 1-1 interviews with students
  and reviewing the learning outcomes.
• Students own perceptions of being enterprising
  and whether the modules are enterprising does
  differ.
• Triangulation process is necessary with
  questionnaire data, interview data and module
  learning outcome descriptors.
