  • The Band be reserved for 3 possible Operators

  • TN occupies 2582 2592 2656 2666 MHz for
    Breezemax Access in Namibia. Keep as per Licence
    . U/phone (2505.5 2624.5) be replaced with new
    technology with time.
  • P lt-gt P links are also deployed in this band for
    Rurtel services.
  • Prefer C1 option per 2.5.5 CEPT Region1
  • NBC Namdeb to migrate out of band.
  • Agree with consultant 4 Licenses.

2.4.1 CDMA 450 Frequency band2.5.1 Proposed
allocation
  • Band 450 - 470 MHz is partly utilised by Telecom
    Namibia to provide fixed wireless access
    services. 2 x 5 MHz (452.500 457.500)/(462.500
    467.500).
  • Telecom agree as recommended in 2.5.1
    Transnamib and Namwater be migrated out of this
    band.

allocation
  • Digital BC Txmitters planned under GE06 plan
    above 790 MHz not be implemented / revised
  • BC ST-links above 790 MHz be migrated when needed
    for Mobile services.
  • Telecom in agreement with proposal as per 2.5.2
    .3 Especially related to E-GSM band

Recommendations
  • NCC should follow ITU Recommendations SADC Band
    plan during assignments.
  • Same ITU Recommendation be used when Channels are
    assigned - Duplex split between Go and Return
    channels the same. (7GHz)
  • Establish committee to assist NCC with WRC
    preparations. DMA, DCA Amateur to be included.
  • Existing Radio station licenses has priority.
  • Licence fees to cover mntce of the spectrum
